Legendary Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino acted as sommelier and signed bottles of his new “Marino Estates Vintage 13″ merlot for Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza patrons at the Coral Springs restaurant. Proceeds from the sales of the wine were donated by Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza to the Dan Marino Foundation.

I was there and the event was awesome! Dan was so nice. He stopped by everyone’s tables to take pictures and sign wine bottles. The pizza was amazing too! Anthony’s named one after Dan (Eggplant Marino) so I figured I’d order it. Good call. It was one of the best pies I’ve ever had. I’ll be back…even if Dan’s not there next time.
