LAKELAND — One of the more underrated perks per winning a state championship is the ride home. Having endured the ride home from hell last year after Winter Park lost in the Class 6A championship game to Orlando Olympia, Austin Rivers savored the thought of celebrating with his teammates on the hour-long bus ride home Saturday night after the Wildcats blew out cross-town rival Dr. Phillips, 76-57, at the Lakeland Center.
