NFL owners met in Atlanta to discuss plans for an 18-game schedule. The bet is the schedule will be expanded, but what will come with it for the players? More money? Or just more injuries.

Here are some views around the NFC South.

Todd McClure, a 12-year veteran with the Falcons, told the Atlanta newspaper that NFL bosses have to show the players the money.

“It could be a good thing if they are going to give us more money,” McClure said. “If they are going to compensate us for it and maybe give us some more health benefits, I think that it would be good for both sides.”

Matt Ryan, the Atlanta quarterback, tried to straddle the fence.
