FORT WORTH, Texas — Thursday night, Brandon Marshall and the Miami Dolphins are in the Lone Star State to take on the Dallas Cowboys in the final preseason game for both teams, and the former Denver Bronco wide receiver hopes to leave a lasting impression inside Cowboys Stadium, where Super Bowl XLV will be played.

For the last four months, Marshall has been both making an impression on South Florida and gaining an appreciation for his new hometown, while at the same time gaining a new appreciation for life as a married man. Jeff Darlington of the Miami Herald wrote about the brash receiver’s adjustment to his new team and the impact his new wife, Michi Nogami, in today’s paper.

The 6-foot-4, 230-pound Pro Bowler has caught more than 100 passes in each of the last three seasons, but as Darlington points out, Nogami has proven to be his most important catch so far. Marshall is eager to put his troubled past behind him and create a new life in South Florida with the Dolphins and with Nogami, so from the day he arrived on April 14th via a trade for two second-round draft picks, he set out to embed himself in the community and the locker room.
