The Seahawks must be betting that Charlie Whitehurst will be their quarterback of the future, because they paid quite a price to acquire him from the Chargers on Wednesday night. Seattle and San Diego swapped second round picks in this April’s draft and the Chargers will also get the Seahawks’ 2011 third round pick in exchange for Whitehurst, who has compiled a grand total of zero pass attempts in four seasons.

Season 14 of Comedy Central’s “South Park” aired last night, but the show seemed like it was almost defending Tiger Woods, which was a refreshing change from the indignation that had been hurled at the golfer since he crashed his Cadillac last Thanksgiving.
He has certainly had better statistical games this season, but this particular performance one filled with one jaw-dropping play after another — was the finest of the season for Orlando Magic star guard Vince Carter.
